Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The changes are a result of consequential amendments stemming from revisions to the Academic Certifications Policy and Procedure. These were updated after the Independent External ESOS Audit June 24 identified some gaps that needed fixing. The consequential amendments to the Credit Policy include the following fixes which:
- addressed the risk of â€~double dipping’ in one-year Master’s programs, where the same AQF Level 8 qualification could otherwise be used for both admission and credit;
- confirm that credit may be used for admission and counted towards a course, except in one-year Master’s programs where admission is based on an AQF Level 8 qualification; and
- introduced a new provision to prevent credit being granted in such cases, ensuring alignment with AQF requirements and University course volume of learning expectations, while preserving existing nested pathway arrangements.

Clauses Amended:Policy: Clauses 13 and 14.
