As part of ongoing internal monitoring of quality and effectiveness a report was created entitled 'Policy Effectiveness Review Report - Assessment Procedures Clauses 20 & 21 (Early Summative Assessment)'. Within this report several amendments were suggested that were then approved by the Academic Quality and Standards Committee to improve the way that early assessment activities are done and expanding the options that academics can implement using their own academic professional judgement.
