Policy
( Top )How can I provide feedback on a current policy?

Feedback can be provided at any time using the ‘Feedback’ tab (located in the top navigation pane) in the relevant policy document. Feedback submitted via this tab will be sent to the Document Author (usually the Policy team, who then forward feedback to relevant business units if required).

( Top )What do the tabs at the top of each policy document webpage mean?

Policy document webpages include the following tabs:

  • Current Version – The current, approved version of the policy document.
  • Status and Details – Information about the document’s status (current or historic); approval, review and implementation dates; responsible people; contact details; and, if relevant, a summary of changes from the previous version.
  • Associated Information – Links to legislation, Rules, Policies, Procedures, Guidelines and other material that has a direct association with the policy document. The list of materials is not exhaustive.
  • Historic Versions – A full-text list of previous versions of the policy document that have been uploaded to the Policy Library.
  • Future Versions – Policy documents that have been approved and published but do not come into effect until a future date.
  • Print – Generates a printable PDF copy of the policy document. PDFs are uncontrolled copies of Policy Library content.
  • Feedback – Provide feedback on the current policy document.
( Top )How are policy documents developed at the University of Canberra?

Policy documents are developed in accordance with the University’s Policy Framework Policy and Policy Framework Procedure.

( Top )What is the role of the Policy team?

The Policy  team:

  • oversees the University’s Policy Library;
  • advises and guides policy authors and other stakeholders on the development, approval, implementation and review of policy documents; and
  • manages the University’s Policy Framework Policy and Policy Framework Procedure.
