Policy Framework

The overarching framework for policy development at the University of Canberra is the Policy Framework Policy and the Policy Framework Procedure.

Policy Style Guideline and Word List

The Policy Style Guideline and Word List ensures every policy text is written in a standard style.

Policy Templates

The drafting and revision of policy texts is done in Word. The templates in the list below are available in .dotx format. This means when the downloaded file is opened, it opens as a ‘new document’. The .dotx file format also allows Policy Developers to load the University’s document styles into an existing Word document via the Developer > Templates ribbon menu. Benchmarking Template

Policy Developers must conduct benchmarking for the majority of policy reviews. This Benchmarking Template is a ready-to-use Word file with links to the policy databases of all other Australian universities. It is in table format for easy collation and presentation of benchmarking data.
